Clarke Underground - New Development













The Clarke Underground development spans a 7,420m² site, comprising a 582m² workshop, 120m² office, and nearly 6,000m² of concrete hardstand and car park area. The project features a rough-sawn timber-style precast concrete fence along Railway Road, a truck wash bay and a 3.2T gantry crane in the workshop.
The workshop was constructed using precast concrete panels, a structural steel portal frame, a concrete floor slab and foundations, and corrugated metal cladding, while the office was built using timber framing, trusses, and a combination of fibre cement and metal claddings.
Despite a re-design and council amendments, Colspec successfully managed stakeholder expectations and delivered the project, including Code Compliance Certification (CCC), within the client’s requested timeframe. The result reflecting our commitment to quality and excellence in commercial construction.
