Lews Creative Flooring

The new purpose built premises for Lew’s Creative Flooring was built on two plots of land that were home to old, derelict houses. This project was completed as a Design and Build project for the local owners. The initial stages of this project begun in July 2015, culminating in the design and consenting process being completed over the following months, with Colspec breaking ground in November 2016. The build was completed in the 20 week construction period that was promised to the client at the very beginning the of project.

The building comprises of a 242m2 warehouse, 278m2 showroom/offices/amenities and 535m2 of pavement/courtyard/gardens. The structure of the build is made up from a combination of in situ concrete floor, precast concrete panels, structural steel roof & wall framing and timber framed construction. Colspec worked closely with the client, who was very involved with the project. It was their vision and strong views that ultimately lead to the final look.

Both Colspec and the Client are extremely pleased with the result and think that the finished product looks fantastic.
