Palmerston North Boys High School - D Block

The PNBHS D Block project involved the replacement of five existing classrooms with a new, standalone structure, as well as the refurbishment of four existing portacom classrooms. To minimise disruption for both staff and students, careful phasing of the demolition and construction works was essential.

The building was constructed using high-quality materials, with the standout feature being the Trespa Cladding, which was selected to complement the adjacent Art Block. Through close collaboration with suppliers and contractors, we ensured that the building met all necessary requirements, achieving the latest Ministry of Education building standards. This guarantees the new D Block's safety, durability, and longevity.

The project team successfully navigated various challenges and additional tasks through meticulous planning and proactive problem-solving. As a result, the project was completed on time and within budget, demonstrating our ability to deliver on our objectives while maintaining resilience and a commitment to excellence.
